Star Toro - Overstable Approach/Mid

Co-developed by Innova disc designer Dave Dunipace and Star Team member Calvin Heimburg, the Toro is a small-diameter, beadless, overstable Mid-range that fills a gap in the Innova lineup. Perfect for forehand approach shots, short-distance S-curves, slow-panning anhyzers, and a range of utility shots, the Toro is our most overstable, least gliding Mid-range at its speed. It can be thrown flat at full power with no concern of the disc flipping over. With so little glide, the Toro is extremely reliable for upshots. Its overstability gives the disc a predictable finish, but its slow speed allows it to check up nicely on greens where a faster disc might skip away. With a flat-top and low-profile, the Toro is similar to a Rat, but even more overstable.

The Innova Champion Toro Calvin Heimburg Signature Series is a very overstable approach disc. The Innova Star Jeremy Koling Signature AviarX3 is that stable to overstable approach putter you've been looking for. It's going to have a soft straight flight with low glide and it handles torque very well. The rim is perfect for those touch forehands and light backhands when you need to get up and down.

The flight path of the AviarX3 often called the AX3, is going to be straight. Don't let that 3 fade fool you, it's going to go straight and then have a touch of hyzer at the end of the flight when it dumps towards the ground. The difference between this disc and other ones like the Pig, Harp, Slammer, and Zone is that the AviarX3 has less glide and a flatter top. It excels in the 50-175 foot shot range. You can throw it flat and it will carry down a tunnel then drop to the ground. It's reliably straight when released flat, or when on a hyzer it's going to hold that hyzer the whole way but with low glide so it'll get down to the ground. The Innova Champion Firebird Disc Golf Distance Driver is a control disc. It's not designed for distance but to be an overstable disc that you can rely on in strong wind, and can be thrown forehand, backhand, or overhand with equal use.

The flight path of the Firebird depends on how hard you throw it. It's a 9 speed that you can throw as hard as you want. When thrown with lots of power it can fly straight for a time before hyzering out. If you throw it on an anhyzer it will be a flex shot. And if you release it on hyzer then it will hyzer the whole time before skipping. It has a wide rim which makes it ideal for skip shots. The Firebird is a utility disc that leads to some great and interesting shots. It's the disc that helped Nate Sexton become the 2017 EURGC champion. It's a disc beloved by 12x World Champion Ken Clim. It holds as much power as you put into it. You won't flip this disc with a strong backhand or forehand, even into ripping headwinds.

Champion plastic is Innova's most durable plastic. It's the most overstable right out of the box and it's going to maintain that flight path for a long time. It's a little smoother than star plastic and will take longer to beat in. It's typically on the heavier side 165-175g, but you're using it for control not distance so a heavier disc is better for that.

The Innova I-Dye Champion Leopard is an awesome fairway driver.  This disc is swirled and dyed with amazing designs from Innova.  Players of every skill level will love the Leopard.

The Innova Leopard is a starting disc for almost every player.  This is the champion plastic version, so it's more durable and also more beautiful.  It's a slightly understable fairway driver.  That means it's going to have more turn than fade, it will turn through most of the flight before having a small fade.  New players will love this disc for the great glide and straight accuracy.  It will likely be the furthest flying disc for them.  Advanced players will be able to manipulate the disc to slowly turnover through the whole flight.  This disc can be thrown sidearm or backhand and it will have good results for all players.  You can hyzer flip the leopard for better distance or let it go flat to see it anhyzer.
