The Innova Champion Tern is an understable max distance driver that's designed to flex from one side to the other and glide down the fairway. It's a 12 speed disc so it does require some power to get going, it wants to get at least 300 feet no matter if you're in the woods or not.
When thrown flat the Tern begins to turn quickly. It's going to leak to one side and then have a forward crashing finish that carries the disc until it runs out of steam. Thrown with a little anhyzer and this disc will ride that natural anhyzer for a long time before flipping and fading back out. If you're throwing this on a hyzer expect the glide to be the biggest factor in the flight. The Tern will get great distance and carry fairly far. The Tern is designed with the backhand player in mind, a sidearm will flip this disc if thrown too forcefully.
Champion plastic is the most durable plastic that players can buy. It's designed with pro, and intermediate players in mind. These discs will last a long time and the flight path on champion stays the same for a very long time. It takes a lot of throws for this disc to beat in. Star plastic Terns will become more flippy quickly but the Champion plastic will take years to beat in and be flippy.
If you want a driver that can flip when you need it to, get good forward glide, and is available at a good price then check out the Innova Champion Tern.

The Innova Star Tern is a disc designed for distance, even with lower speed arms. The Tern is an understable distance driver that boasts maximum glide and can be forced over easily. It has a small rim for a distance driver, and it throws well right out of the box.
When you're throwing the Tern whether backhand or sidearm expect it to be understable. The -3 turn on the tern means that for most of the flight it's going to be turning, and then at the end it will run out of power and fade back. This is useful for when you're in the woods and you have to throw around the trees, or in an open field when you want to get 350+ feet of distance as well as end to one side of the fairway. It's a 12 speed disc that's designed to be turned over during flight, that's the natural flight path of the disc. It will be an S curve, but less fade so expect this disc to end more towards how it starts.
Star Plastic is durable and affordable. It's twice the price of DX plastic but it will last you significantly longer and retain the flight characteristics better. The grip is awesome on a Star disc, it's perfect no matter the weather and comes in plenty of different weight and color options for players to choose from.
If your discs not doing what you want, and you need more distance and turn then check out a Tern from Innova Champion discs.
